The Story of Arihant
Three generations of devotion, mastery, and an unbroken commitment to preserving India's most sacred sculptural traditions.

Our Founding
Born of Devotion
In 1985, Shri Mahavir Jain set up a small workshop in the heart of Zaveri Bazaar with a singular mission: to create sacred idols that were not merely objects of worship, but vessels of living divinity.
Having trained under master craftsmen in Nathdwara, Rajasthan — home of the legendary Pichwai tradition — he brought back techniques that had been perfected over centuries. His first Ganesha murti, a 500-gram silver piece in the 3D solid tradition, sold within hours to a temple in Walkeshwar.
Word spread through Mumbai's devotee community. Within a decade, Arihant had become the name that temples, wealthy households, and spiritual seekers trusted above all others for their most sacred acquisitions.
What We Stand For
Our Guiding Principles
Sacred Craft
We follow the Shilpa Shastra — ancient Hindu texts that prescribe exact proportions for deity idols. Every measurement carries spiritual significance.
Material Purity
Only BIS hallmarked 999 fine silver, 22kt hallmarked gold, and precision-plated 1gm gold and 1gm silver enter our atelier. No compromises, ever.
Artisan Heritage
Our 200+ craftspeople hail from families where metalwork has been practiced for generations. We preserve their knowledge as living heritage.
Divine Intention
Each idol is consecrated with Vedic mantras before leaving our atelier, ensuring it carries positive spiritual energy to your sacred space.
